Terms of service

The agreement between you and ObjectiveDone for using Connect, this website and the products built on the same platform. Written to be read.

Governed by Indian lawNo automatic renewalsNo payment inside the app

The short version

A summary of what follows, for orientation only. Where it and the numbered sections could be read differently, the numbered sections are the agreement.

  • One account, one person, one phone at a time. You must be 18 or older. Signing in on a new phone signs the old one out.
  • Connect is out now. You were given it directly rather than from an app store. Expect bugs, expect screens to move, and please do not pass it on to anyone we have not invited.
  • Your content stays yours. We claim no ownership of your cards, contacts, notes or recordings, only the permission we need to store them and run the features you use.
  • Nothing charges automatically. There is no payment inside the app, no card details are collected, and no plan renews on its own. When a paid period ends you drop back to the free features.
  • The CRM is a separate product, bought separately by the organisation that uses it. Paying for Connect does not include it, and a CRM seat does not include Connect.
  • The AI can be wrong. Card reading, transcription and the Concierge are assistive. Check anything that matters.
  • Indian law, Bengaluru courts, and a liability cap set out in section 14.

1. Who this agreement is with

These terms are between you and Invement Mentoring Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at No 26/A, 15th C Cross, 6th D Main, 2nd Stage, WOC Road, Mahalakshmipuram Layout, Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka, 560086 and registration number GSTIN 29AAFCI2138D1ZS, "we", "us", "our". They apply to ObjectiveDone Connect, to this website at objectivedone.com including the public card pages, and to any other ObjectiveDone product you use unless that product comes with its own signed agreement, in which case the signed agreement wins for that product.

By creating an account, or by using a card page or share-back form on this site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.

How we handle personal information is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of this agreement.

2. Your account

  • You need an account to use Connect, and you are responsible for what happens on it. Keep your password to yourself.
  • One account is for one person. An account is signed in on one phone at a time by design, signing in on a second phone signs the first out. That is a security property, not a limitation to be worked around.
  • You must be 18 or older. ObjectiveDone is not a service for children and we do not knowingly provide it to anyone under 18.
  • Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it current. An account registered with details that are not yours is one we may close.
  • Tell us promptly at support@objectivedone.com if you think someone else has got into your account.

3. While Connect is out now

Connect is being tested before public release. If you are reading this you were given the app directly rather than from an app store, and parts of it will change before launch.

  • Expect bugs, expect screens to move, and expect frequent updates. Telling us what broke is the point of the programme: support@objectivedone.com, or Profile → Submit feedback, which fills in your app version for you.
  • Testers receive every paid feature at no charge for the duration of the programme. That access is a courtesy for helping us test, not a purchase. It ends when the programme does, and we will say so in the app before it changes rather than letting features quietly stop working.
  • Please do not pass the app to anyone we have not invited. A tester build handed on is a build we cannot support and cannot account for.
  • Because the app is distributed outside an app store during testing, we may require you to install an update in order to keep using it, for example when an older build stops working correctly or is unsafe.

4. Your content

Your cards, contacts, notes and recordings remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us the permission we need to store and process them in order to run ObjectiveDone for you, including sending the necessary parts to the AI services named in the privacy policy, and serving a card you have chosen to publish. That permission is limited to running the service, lasts as long as you keep the content with us, and ends when you delete it. Nothing more.

You are responsible for the people you save. You must have a proper basis for storing somebody's details and for how you use them, and if someone asks you to remove them from your contacts, do it. That obligation is yours, not ours, we hold the record on your behalf.

A card you publish is public: anyone with its link can see it. Do not put anything on a card you would not hand to a stranger, and do not put anyone else's personal details on your card without their agreement.

5. Acceptable use

When using ObjectiveDone, you agree that you will not:

  • Use it to send unwanted marketing, or to build a list for that purpose.
  • Upload anything unlawful or abusive, or anything you have no right to share.
  • Attempt to reach another member's data, or to break, overload or work around the service or its limits.
  • Share one account between several people, or resell access to it.
  • Use the AI features to generate anything unlawful or harmful, or to impersonate a real person.
  • Reverse engineer the app or its APIs except where the law expressly permits it.
  • Use automated means to create accounts, scrape data, or drive the service at a volume it is not intended for.
  • Use the public card pages or the share-back form to harvest contact details in bulk.

Fair use applies to the paid AI features. They are priced for one person's ordinary professional use. If usage looks automated or looks like more than one person, we will contact you before we do anything about it.

6. Plans, prices and how paying works

Most of Connect is free and stays free: your cards, sharing them, contacts, importing, QR scanning, reminders, notifications and recording voice memos. Paid covers reading business cards from a photo beyond the free daily allowance, turning voice memos into text with summaries and action items, and the AI Concierge.

PlanPriceWhat it is
Free₹0Everything above that is not an AI feature, plus five card reads a day
Premium₹400 per month, or ₹4,000 per yearUnlimited card reading, transcription with summaries, and the Concierge
Testers₹0Every paid feature, free, for the duration of the general release programme

Prices are in Indian rupees and exclude any taxes that apply, which will be shown before you agree to anything.

There is no payment inside the app

This is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly. No card, UPI or bank detail is ever entered into the app or stored by us. If you tell us you are interested, we get in touch, agree the price and the term with you, and switch the plan on for your account by hand.

  • Nothing is charged automatically and nothing renews on its own. When a paid period ends, access simply returns to the free features until you choose to extend.
  • Because nothing auto-renews, there is nothing to cancel. If you have paid for a period and want to stop early, write to us and we will deal with it fairly.
  • You can earn time instead of paying for it. If someone signs up with your invite code and then subscribes, a month is added to your account, up to twelve months in any year.
  • Your data does not disappear when a paid period ends. The paid features stop; your cards, contacts, notes and existing transcripts stay exactly where they are.

7. The CRM and other organisation products

The ObjectiveDone CRM is a separate product, bought separately by the organisation that uses it. Paying for Connect does not include it, and holding a CRM seat does not include Connect. They share one sign-in, which is a convenience and not a bundle.

Its price is not set. The CRM is sold to organisations under a separate agreement and there is no published figure for it; anyone who tells you otherwise is quoting something we have not decided. Write to support@objectivedone.com and we will talk about it properly.

  • Your personal Connect data stays personal. Sending a contact from Connect to a CRM you belong to is always an explicit choice, and it copies rather than moves, nothing you keep in Connect becomes visible to an employer because you happen to use both products.
  • Inside a CRM, the organisation is in charge. It owns the data in its workspace, decides who has a seat, and its administrators can see the leads, deals and activities its people record there. If you use the CRM at work, that data is your employer's and their policies apply to it.
  • Where an organisation signs its own agreement with us for the CRM, that agreement governs the CRM and these terms continue to govern your personal Connect account.

8. The AI features are assistive

Card reading, transcription and the Concierge produce output that can be wrong. A misread digit in a phone number and a summary that missed the one sentence that mattered are both normal failure modes of this technology, not defects we can promise to eliminate.

Check anything that matters before relying on it. You are responsible for what you do with the output. It is not legal, financial, medical or professional advice of any kind, and it must not be used as the sole basis for a decision with consequences.

Scanned cards land in the ordinary contact editor before anything is saved, precisely so that you see what was read and can correct it.

9. Our intellectual property

ObjectiveDone, its software, design, name and marks belong to us. These terms give you permission to use the products, not ownership of any part of them, and nothing here transfers any of our intellectual property to you.

If you send us feedback, ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely and without obligation or payment to you. That is not us taking anything from you, it is the only way a small team can act on what testers tell it without a legal review for every idea.

10. Third-party services and content

ObjectiveDone connects to services we do not run, your phone's operating system, the app store or installer you got the build from, wallet passes on Apple and Google, maps and place search, and any webhook you point at a system of your own. Their terms are between you and them, and we are not responsible for what they do or fail to do.

Information that leaves through a route you chose, a webhook, an export, a contact file you shared, is in a system we do not control from that moment on.

11. Availability, and changes to the service

We work to keep ObjectiveDone available and correct, but we do not promise that it will never be unavailable or never make a mistake. There is no service-level commitment attached to the free tier or to a tester build.

We may change, add or remove features. Where a change removes something you rely on, we will say so in advance where we reasonably can.

Reminders are delivered by our server and by your phone's notification service, both of which can be delayed or blocked by things outside our control, flight mode, battery optimisation, a network outage. Do not use a reminder as the only safeguard for something that must not be missed.

12. Suspension, and ending the agreement

You can stop using ObjectiveDone whenever you like, and delete your account yourself from Profile → Delete account. Export your contacts first if you want to keep them.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to act. Where it is reasonable to do so we will explain first and give you a chance to put it right. For a serious breach, abuse of another member, unlawful content, an attempt to reach data that is not yours, we may act immediately.

Sections that by their nature should survive the end of this agreement do: the permission you granted for content already shared, our intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, ObjectiveDone is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI output will be accurate.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a warranty, condition or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 in India, or the equivalent in your own country.

14. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for example business lost because a reminder did not arrive, or a deal missed because a transcript was imperfect.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to ObjectiveDone is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹5,000. For a free or tester account, that is ₹5,000.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of ObjectiveDone, or your unlawful use of another person's information stored in it.

16. Governing law, and where disputes are heard

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.

If you are a consumer resident somewhere whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country's courts or to the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law, that right is not taken away by the paragraph above.

Before starting any proceedings, please write to us. Most things are a misunderstanding and are quicker to fix by email than by anything else.

17. Complaints and grievances

Indian law requires us to publish a named person to receive complaints. Ours is Kashyap Sreedharmurthy Karnala, reachable at grievance@objectivedone.com or by post at Invement Mentoring Private Limited, No 26/A, 15th C Cross, 6th D Main, 2nd Stage, WOC Road, Mahalakshmipuram Layout, Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka, 560086.

We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days. Complaints about personal information are covered in more detail in section 15 of the privacy policy.

18. General

  • Changes. We may update these terms. The Last updated date at the top changes with them, and where a change is material we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use ObjectiveDone after that means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, delete your account.
  • The whole agreement. These terms and the privacy policy are the entire agreement between us about ObjectiveDone, and replace anything said before.
  • Severability. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to a company that acquires the business, on the same terms.
  • Force majeure. Neither of us is liable for a failure caused by something genuinely outside our control.
  • Notices. We will reach you at the address your account signs in with, or in the app. Reach us at support@objectivedone.com.
  • Language. These terms are written in English, and the English version governs.
